Frequently asked questions
Corporate tax filing, made clear.
Straight answers for UAE businesses preparing their corporate tax return.
Who needs to file a UAE Corporate Tax return?
Most UAE businesses and legal entities that are subject to Corporate Tax must register and file a return with the Federal Tax Authority, even where there is no tax payable. Your exact obligations depend on your legal structure, tax period, and eligibility for relief.
Is the AED 1,000 fee the Corporate Tax itself?
No. AED 1,000 is the service fee for the simplified filing service. Any Corporate Tax due, FTA penalties, accounting work, audit costs, or other third-party charges are separate.
Can you help if my company had zero revenue?
Yes. A business with zero revenue may still have a filing obligation. We can help you prepare a simplified return where the circumstances and available records allow.
What is Small Business Relief?
Small Business Relief may be available to qualifying UAE resident businesses that meet the applicable FTA conditions. Eligibility is assessed against the current rules and your business information.
Do you support free zone companies?
We support many UAE mainland and free zone companies. DMCC companies are excluded from this simplified service. We will confirm whether your company is suitable before proceeding.
What information will I need to provide?
You will generally need your company details, Tax Registration Number where available, financial records for the relevant tax period, and supporting information needed to prepare the return.
How long does the filing process take?
Timing depends on the completeness of your records and the complexity of your position. Once we have the required information, we will guide you through the next steps and filing timeline.
Can you file a late Corporate Tax return?
Yes, late filing support may be available. The AED 1,000 service fee is separate from any penalties imposed by the Federal Tax Authority.
